6th International Conference for the History of Science in Science Education

Constructing Scientific Understanding through Contextual Teaching

The International Conference for the History of Science in Science Education is developing a tradition (for information about the recent conferences see http://www.sci-ed.ca/conferences.htm).

The 2006 meeting is located at the BIS Saal of the main campus at the Carl-von-Ossietzky University. The idea of the meeting is to exchange views on establishing the history of science in science education. In particular, the discussions of the participants should play a central role in the conference, consequently the number of papers as well as the number of participants is limited. Therefore, participation on the conference is desired, but interested parties have to register.
